The Mendocino High School Science Club began this very ambitious solar hydrogen project in January 2003
Richard devotes much of his time to electrolyzer (what's an electrolyzer?) and fuel cell research and development, among many other things. Here's one of his electrolyzers.
Tommy and Marvin built some PEM fuel cells and set them up to compare them to batteries.
